What is your role at tlc?
Block Manager
What is your background?
As I spent my formative years on an estate, I discovered my passion for properties and developed a way for managing the maintenance staff responsible for the upkeep of the house, garden, and fruit bearing trees. This hands-on experience ignited a spark within me and set the stage for my future endeavours.
Embarking on my professional journey, I ventured to the bustling city of Bombay, where I had the privilege of working with high-net-worth individuals for property sales, lettings, and management. This experience honed my skills, broadened my knowledge, and provided me with invaluable insights into the luxury real estate sector.
Seeking new horizons, I made the life-changing decision to relocate to the United Kingdom eight years ago. This marked a turning point in my career, focusing specifically on property management.
What values drive you?
From an early age, I learned the importance of positivity and a proactive approach to life. These teachings shaped my character, fostering qualities such as resilience, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of assertiveness.
What are your objectives for tlc over the next 12 months?
I feel the rush and it's exhilarating to be a part of a lovely working atmos. I aim to make a meaningful impact as a block manager, contribute to the team as a whole and tlc's growth. Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, keep everyone happy and make it happen.
What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by the natural beauty of pristine beaches and picturesque hills, instilling in me a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature. Outside of the office, I try to find a nearby park, and on the weekends go to the woods and parks for a walk or when possible drive to the hills or beaches around to recharge and rejuvenate.
What is your favourite song?
Stand By Me by Ben E. King
What is one thing that might surprise people about you?
I like to sing and used to perform at events.
If you could be any animal, what would you be?
I would love to be a Panther. Ever since I've seen Disney's, 'The Jungle Book', Bagheera serves as a friend, protector and mentor. He is a creature of both worlds as he was raised in captivity and has a better understanding of our world, a bridge between humans and animals.
