Block Team Leader

What is your role at tlc?

Block Team Leader

What is your background?

My background has been a large mixture of hospitality-based customer facing roles, which led to multiple growth opportunities managing large teams and commercial assets. Residential Block Management was a more recent career transition in an effort to home in on specialised experience managing both relationships and properties.

What values drive you?

I am a firm believer in Integrity and Respect in everything I do. This industry be extremely unforgiving but also empowering for those that work in it. Leaseholders trust you with their homes, therefore you need to be bringing the best you can offer with every interaction.

What are your objectives for tlc over the next 12 months?

My objectives are to continue supporting and to pinpoint opportunities that add value to the team and the wider business. A selfless search in growth and development sits close to my heart. We will all succeed together.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?

I relish opportunities to get into the gym where possible which is usually followed by great food, entertainment and company. More importantly, I love to spend time with my boy who is growing up all to fast! (He loves a good adventure).

What is your favourite song?

This is a really difficult question! I would have to say at the time of writing this that I recently found my dad ‘rocking out ‘to Californication by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This gave me reminiscent memories of the past when we use to listen to it on our old stereo system many years ago. Listening to it now gives a whole new perspective of the world. (Given it was written in late 90’s).

What is one thing that might surprise people about you?

Something that surprises people was that I grew to 6ft tall in year 5 (9/10 years old) and didn’t grow any further (sadly)! – Photos are available as proof. Giant Jay was a thing!

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

A big friendly dragon, yes really a dragon!

What are three things on your bucket list?

1. Visit at least 3 countries a year including an additional trip to visit my home away from home in the Philippines.

2. Become a mentor and to find a mentor for myself

3. Learn a new language
