Purchase Ledger & Credit Control

What is your role at tlc?

I just started working at tlc as Purchase Ledger & Credit Control.

What is your background?

I moved to London from Kyiv because of the war in Ukraine.

I have completed a Masters of Economic Science and a Master of Law in Ukraine and I am completing my AAT Level 2 qualification in London. Settling in London and building a completely new life in a non-native language was challenging, but I am very proud of how far I have come.

What do you enjoy about working at tlc?

Tlc feels like a very people-oriented company. It values relationships over numbers and targets. I felt welcome and valued from the first day I started. I love that we have dogs in the office!

I have also seen how fast growing and dynamic this company is, the Directors clearly have passion and vision for the firm and that makes me want to contribute to its success and development.

What values drive you?

Achieving small goals daily.

What are your objectives for tlc over the next 12 months?

I haven't been at the company long enough to set objectives for it, but I see people working hard to develop the company and I will do my best to contribute to that. I appreciate feeling part of the team and playing my role in taking tlc forward.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?

I love baking and sports! I do both to unwind and relax.

Having moved to London almost a year ago, my daughter and I spent our free time exploring the city and going for day trips outside of London. I don't have that much free time outside of work, as I am also attending English language and AAT accounting classes in the evenings and on weekends.

What is your favourite song?

It depends on my mood. I listen to the moving music of Enrique Iglesias when I want to cheer up or remember my carefree school years, when I learned Spanish. And Sia 'Unstoppable' when I want to tune in to new goals.

What is one thing that might surprise people about you?

I am absolutely no good at swearing. I am getting ridiculous and any difficult situation turns into a shared laugh.

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

I would like to be friends with my beloved Maine Coon cat, who is very much like a dog in character. And he and I would love to tease our dogs in the office.

What are three things on your bucket list?

Help my family in Ukraine

Visit the islands I have not yet been to
