The London Spanish Film Festival returns for its 21st edition from Thursday 18 to Thursday 25 September 2025, celebrating the very best of Spanish cinema in the heart of Kensington. Hosted at Ciné Lumière, this annual event showcases a vibrant selection of new feature films, documentaries, shorts, international co-productions, and treasures from the archives.

Audiences can look forward to UK and London premieres, exclusive screenings, and engaging Q&As with acclaimed directors and actors. The 2025 programme includes:

  • La Buena Letra (The Good Handwriting), directed by Celia Rico Clavellino, starring Loreto Mauleón and Enric Auquer – UK premiere followed by a Q&A with the director.

  • Basque Window, directed by Julio Medem, featuring Javier Rey and Alvaro Morte – UK premiere with a post-screening conversation alongside Professor Peter Evans.

  • Alumbramiento (Birth), directed by Pau Teixidor – London premiere.

  • Salve Maria, directed by Mar Coll – London premiere.
