St Cuthbert’s Church, Philbeach Gardens, Earl’s Court
Earl’s Court is alive with music this autumn! On Friday, 24 October at 7.30 pm, our friends at St Cuthbert’s Church host the next concert in its exciting new Music at St Cuthbert’s series — “A European Conversation”, performed by the acclaimed ChamberMusicBox ensemble.
Audiences are invited to step into a vibrant musical dialogue that spans centuries and borders, from the elegance of Mozart and Haydn to the shimmering colours of Roussel and Ibert, the haunting lyricism of Bax, and the powerful intensity of Weinberg. Performed by world-class musicians on flute, strings, and harp, this programme offers a rare opportunity to experience chamber music as a living conversation across time and place - all in the breathtaking surroundings of St Cuthbert's.
Now in its 10th season, ChamberMusicBox has earned praise as “an open, imaginative and technically impeccable group that it would be folly not to follow”. Their innovative programmes bring together award-winning international performers to explore both beloved classics and hidden gems, all in fresh and inspiring ways. Earl's Court audiences have particularly enjoyed their marvellous Christmas Concerts in recent years!
The evening will conclude with drinks and a chance to meet the musicians!
