Few works capture the spirit of the season quite like Handel’s Messiah. From the tender beauty of “Comfort ye” to the triumphant “Hallelujah” Chorus, this beloved oratorio has inspired audiences for nearly three centuries with its blend of drama, devotion, and sheer musical brilliance.
This December, the Choir of St Cuthbert’s Church reunites with the acclaimed ChamberMusicBox ensemble following the outstanding success of their 2024 Christmas Concert. Together, they will deliver an unforgettable evening of choral grandeur under the direction of Quintin Beer, marking his final performance as Director of Music at St Cuthbert’s.
Featuring soloists Georgie Malcolm (soprano), Bernadette Johns (alto), Philippe Durrant (tenor), and Allyn Wu (bass), this concert promises a moving celebration of unity, artistry, and festive joy.
